Treatment of Virginal

At the beginning of each sequence the headlines in bold appear printed on screen.

First dream

Irene´s body is twisting as a little doll, we can only see her shadow. This over lapses itself with different colors every time. Laying in her bed, Irene wakes up from dreaming and takes a pencil and some paper next to her.

I write my dreams every day.

Paez, a thirty years old guy, wakes up in his room, looks around him, and sees an empty bag of chips. His look is relaxed but for a moment he is possessed by evil. He stares at it for a moment. He prepares to leave the room, opens the door and goes down the stairs. From the outside of the house we see him going down the stairs while he´s carrying a shopping bag. Now he walks through the dirt streets, gets to the bakery and buys some bread. He walks towards the city while he eats some of it.

Many people protesting, cutting the traffic of an avenue. Paez is next to the protesters facing the police officers who are armed in case something goes wrong. They are formed in a straight line over the highway.

 

Cop Dad

A bald guy in his fifties is watching a car race and seems to be very worried about its development.

I´m sick of guys

Graciela is pointing the lens of her Polaroid to the under parts of a lying boy. She takes the picture and stares at it. The boy is not allowed of it.

Irene is making up in front of the mirror with the sound of a pavement chopper machine hammers the floor making a hole. It´s Christmas, there´s a little manger and the clock says it’s a quarter to twelve and the glass raises to toast for the new Christmas. Outside a car park, Irene goes out quickly and gets into it as she slames the door. The car runs towards the darkness in the street.

There are fireworks all over the roofs. Inside the car, the girls are laughing out loud. One of them cuts a piece of a LSD cardboard. They put a piece in each one of their tongues. The car rides along the street while the girls are having some drinks and having fun. They also open a bottle of cider. One of the girls never takes out the cigarette from her mouth.

Virginal

We are at the front door of a disco. The girls inside are having some vodka and play to empty a full glass of it. Irene is dancing in an uncontrolled way. Paez´s look inside the disco is similar to a wolf´s stalking his prey. Irene is laying in a sofa of the disco. Someone gets near her, pulls her hear, shaking her head. She´s unconscious. A scream is heard.

I didn´t rape her

Paez raises his panties; Irene is on the floor with her panties down and some scratches. Paez looks at her for the last time and runs away. She can barely stand up. There are highways near the scene. A church bell rings. We see the statue of a holy virgin.

Paez runs through the city. His gait is wild.

Graciela recibes a cell phone call at the supermarket butcher; she has the cell phone by her ear and walks through different spaces with it there. In the other side of the line, Irene is crying.

Graciela and Irene are hugging each other inside a police station. There´s a police woman typing in her desk while looks at them askance. A police officer showing his back is spying through a half open door. When he takes his cup we see he is the cop dad, he goes away from there looking at the floor.

Irene covers her genitals with her hand. We can see a radiograph of Irene´s sacrum. Now she´s laying in a litter, Graciela fondles her head, a nurse approaches to work with swabs between Irene’s crotch.

Irene is now at her house looking at her body, we see her shadow projected. The water is running at the shower, and the water falls over Irene’s body. She seems to start relaxing.

Irene puts her clothe in a dark nylon bag.

Graciela and Irene are in the outside spraying kerosene at it. Graciela lights a match and throw it to the nylon bag, turning it on fire. The reflection of the fire is over the girl´s faces.

The pill talking (for the day after)

Graciela gives Irene a pill; she takes it and introduces it to her mouth.

Second Dream

There are different portals with car images, there´s also an uncontrolled zapping on the TV. There´s a woman with a goat head who is shacking a boy´s doll from its hair. Over her belly is the projection of a woman´s figure that floats in the air. We see other images

I want to be another one

Irene transforms into another one, under the shower.

We see other oniric images

Irene gets out of bed again, takes his notebook and starts writing.

Paez is looking at a couple in the street, behind them there´s a jacket. Paez goes quickly next to them and steals it. Then he sees that inside it there´s a cookie and starts eating it. He takes the jacket somewhere to change it for some cash.

Now Paez is having a beer in a bridge, looking pensive at the horizon. At a time drops the bottle from the bridge to the pavement.

Irene is preparing a meal in her kitchen. She´s sitting at the table with her father. He eats voraciously and remains silent, the atmosphere is cruel.

Irene can´t eat anything, is waiting for a sign, but she doesn´t get anything. The cop dad rises from the table and puts on his cap, as if he were looking at a mirror

Graciela walks through a park and sees women practicing yoga. She sees a sign stick to a tree.  We see her in her house with a book, practicing some yoga positions.

Graciela is working in a cyber café; there are plenty of kids playing to a virtual war. Over the desk, there´s a big box. She´s making a bun on it.

Graciela rides a bike in the street

Irene is laying on her bed making zapping on the TV channels.

Graciela gets to Irene’s house and knocks on the door. Irene puts her eye in the peep hole. Now they are inside the house, Graciela combs Irene’s hair. Suddenly we see Irene is laying with Graciela looking at the Polaroid pictures.

Cop Dad is riding in the police patrol through the entire city, looks like a wolf raking his victim

Paez´s still running through the city, we hear a police siren.

We see some highways and many cars going through them. Paez is with his hands over the hood of the police patrol. A pólice officer stares at him with arrogance.

At Irene’s house, the girls are practicing some yoga positions. Suddenly the phone rings. Graciela picks up the phone.

The girls go out of the house and lock the door. They get into a car and make their way through the pavement street. During the journey, the girls remain silent. Irene is thoughtful and smokes, and throws away the cigarette through the window.

Through a long corridor, they bring Paez handcuffed. He stands in an identification parade where a finger points at him. We know its Irene’s finger because of a ring.

The girls walk around the square, watch the train go by, a carrousel. They are laying in the grass.

They put Paez in a jail cell. The jailer makes a sign to another prisoner to make him understand that Paez is a sexual offender. All the prisoners rise from bed and start making a round with Paez as it center. He closes his fists.

Irene takes some clothes and packs a bag. Steals some money from his father´s wallet. She walks out with a bag.

She gets to the door of an apartment and knocks. Irene’s approaches to a flower in a backyard, and an old man observes her. Graciela walks through the street with the gift box that she was preparing. They are both face to face, Irene starts opening the box and keeps watching the inside of it. They both keep looking at each other. Graciela approaches to her, steals a kiss from her mouth and pushes her to the bed. Graciela takes a dildo from inside the box and starts rubbing it in Irene’s vagina.

There are some mosquitoes, at the jail cell, making lots of noise. Paez is inside the jail looking through the window of a door. Suddenly the transmission is off

Paez is laying inside a Cryogenic bubble, connected to sensors. After a while he seems to wake up.

Third dream

In a field there´s a witch making a shamanic ritual (as ayahuasca), There´s a woman sleeping in a bed of vegetables, starting to wake up. We see milk coming from a human breast. We see abstract intervened material. Sound of TV and radio documentaries.

We are in the gate of a temple. The girls are about to baptize a baby- There´s a priest showing his back- The water starts to wet the baby’s head. The priest´s face is Paez´s.
